I have been an active member of PASBO member since 2005. I have maintain my Professional Registration as a Pennsylvania Certified School Business Official (PCSBO) and am looking forward to obtaining my PA Certified School Facilities Manager (PCSFM). Locally I actively participate in the Central Region School Facility Managers group, as well as the founding President of the Central Region School Safety Managers group . Additionally, I am a member of the PASBO Facilities Management, Procurement and School Safety Committees. I regularly attend and present at PASBO webinars, conferences and workshops. I have been named the conference chairman for numerous years for the School Safety Committee at the Annual Conference.
I was elected to the PASBO Board of Directors from 1 July 2018 through 30 June 2021 and look forward to serving our members. I believe that I provide unbiased leadership, perspective and direction through experience. My vision is to continue to strengthen PASBO by enriching its mission, advocacy, education, business relations and networking opportunities, while expanding services to our members. I want to ensure that all groups and LEA's statewide are equally represented with integrity in our great organization.
I have been the Director of Operations for the Middletown Area SD since 2007 where I have oversight of maintenance and custodial services, safety and security, transportation, warehouse operations and construction services. I earned my Associate Degree in Applied Science, Mechanical and Electrical Technology at the Community College of Air Force.
I've served over 29 years in the U.S. military as a member of the Army Reserve and the PA Air National Guard. As a Master Sergeant I serve as the Mechanical Superintendent with the 201st RED HORSE Squadron, Civil Engineers. While serving with the HORSE I've deployed to Bagram Afghanistan (2002 & 2009-10), Taji Iraq (2005) and Qatar, Kuwait and United Arab Emirates (2014) and recently provided Hurricane Relief in the U.S. Virgin Islands (2017).
