Pupil Services Secretary

Provide a full range of secretarial support to assigned administrative personnel; record-keeping and reporting regarding all pupil services, including but not limited to, social work services, psychological services, home-school visitor services, and the gifted program.  Provide secretarial services including correspondence, phone messages, reports, order supplies, equipment maintenance, filing, record keeping, copy files as needed, and opening and distributing mail for Pupil Services Department. 

Qualifications:

* High School diploma, post-high school education, or relevant training preferred.

* Excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills.

* Ability to handle pressure and multiple responsibilities with numerous distractions.

* Self-starter with strong office and file management skills, completing tasks in a timely manner.

* Strong organizational skills as well as a firm background in MS Office applications (i.e., Excel, Word, PowerPoint); additionally, familiarity with cloud-based applications (e.g., Google Drive).  

* Interpersonal skills that will complement the communication needs of the Pupil Services Department with both staff and parents.

 

 

* 12 months, 7 1/2 hours per day (8:00 am to 4:00 pm with 30-minute unpaid lunch).
* $22.00 per hour after a successful probationary period.

 

 **As necessary, a separate email will be sent with a link and access code to comply with the Act 168 Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure release forms.  If applicable, you will have to provide email addresses for both current and prior employers.
