Matt serves as the Assistant Superintendent and Human Resources Director for the Plum Borough School District. Having served as a teacher, school principal, and central office administrator, he is a results-oriented leader, passionate about advancing teaching and learning through servant leadership, strategic planning, and effective human resources practices. Throughout his career, Matt has held leadership roles in both K-12 school districts and an Intermediate Unit, giving him a broad perspective on how to support students, educators, and school communities.
His professional interests include educational leadership, talent development, labor relations, school law, organizational culture, and the development of systems that support educators and improve student outcomes. Matt values collaborating with colleagues across Pennsylvania to share ideas, solve challenges, and promote excellence in public education.
Outside of work, Matt enjoys spending time with his wife, family, and friends, skiing, cooking, and listening to music. He also enjoys exploring emerging technologies, particularly artificial intelligence, and their potential to enhance leadership, communication, and organizational effectiveness.
